Has a colleague ever asked you to explain why the union is necessary? Have you ever wondered yourself?

Your job is great. Your working hours are reasonable and the pay is nice. You have five weeks of holiday and a few extra days off per year. This may be the right time to remember that decent conditions in the workplace are not to be taken for granted. In order to succeed in maintaining good conditions, or negotiating even better ones, Forena needs many members.

The basic concept of the trade union is, in fact, the same as when the first trade unions were founded at the beginning of the last century: if many unite on common demands, they will be more easily heard.
